I have read the different methods of breaking in the 636 but was inclined to follow the factory recommendation. When I picked up my bike, the dealer told me that the 4000 rpm was BS and that all I would have to worry about is the 6000 rpm mark. Should I follow this advice? I have 100 miles on the clock now but wanted to take a ride upstate this weekend and having to go 45-50 mph the whole way is not too apealing. Any thoughts?
