Well guys has everyone got their bikes yet?? MooX hurry up and sell that car and get your arse on that brand spankin new 636. Raven and DarkTrang, what's your biking experience and what r u riding? I'm on a green 2002 636 with a few mods here and there. Have you guys been up 2 Mt Glorious b4? Heard its a decent twisty ride. Been up 2 Mt Tambourine a couple of times but the roads are pretty shit. Any other favourite destinations??

Hi wolf. Well ive had my open licence for about 2 years now and in that time ive had 3 bikes. (the zx6r will be my 4th) but this time im keeping it because i wont have to owe money on it (The values of saving money)... thank god.
Ive had a 92 zx2r (Fun), 2000 aprilia rs250 (Expensive), and a 01 R6 (Quick and expensive). ive sold those previous bikes because:
A: 250's are to small for me.
B: my $12 000 dollar R6 somehow turned into a $20 000 after financing it. (Never finance again !!!! )
At least now i'll own my zx6r when it i pick it up next week.
With regards to Mt glorious. Ive been up there about 5 times now but the last time i went was when i had my r6, about 4 months ago. so yes its been a while. Getting back on the bike is no probs, it actually felt good again ridin 2 wheels instaed of 4. I have no probs going for a spin up to the top, ill probably be a slow poke as per usual
I'll own a 1998 Deep blue, black, grey zx6r. Apparently the colour scheme is quite rare. Oh well at least you cant miss me then hehehe

i myself have a 1998 zx6r, ive had it for about 7 months now.
it too is in the black/purple/grey color scheme, so it looks like we will have the same color scheme Raven.
I also have polished rims, and a Gianelli pipe on it, which is apparently an expensive one as a motorcycle muffler store told me when i got my muffler bracket replaced yesterday, damned thing broke on me.
i owned a cbr 250 for 12 months before getting the zx6.
still learning on the bigger bike, so dont expect anything too fast from me.

getting my 03' ZX6R this week and will deffinately look forward to being on it ond off the Ducati monster i'm currently on,
anyway was thinking of organising a ride next weekend 8-9th Feb, start midday sat fuck off West a few hours, get on the piss, next day ride back...
anyone else keen
I'm living on the Gold Coast about 10 mins from bundall, but will be willing to meet any keen brissy riders half way, maybey at the bike stores in Springbrook. [?]

Unfortunately i am working both saturday and sunday on the 8th and 9th Feb (im a shift worker) basically i get 2 full week ends off a month and work the other 2. Im actually free on saturday the 1st of march till about 1 ish cause i have to attend a wedding.
Is anyone keen to meet up in the morning on saturday march the 1st for a little blat...
If so, is it possible to get a response soon since its nearly saturday hehehe.
If not, we can work something out later on
