Took off the front sprocket to swap in a -1, and noticed that there was a tooth missing. Not a big deal, but there is only 6000 miles on it and I hardly ever wheelie.

Is it common for front sprockets to loose teeth?

BTW, it was very easy to get the nut off, just had a friend hold rear brake and used a breaker bar, wala!

I never noticed anything different. I had the cover off 3000 miles ago and there were all there.

I think the chain was a little tight, maybe 25-30mm. I set it to 35mm now.

Prolly was a manufacturing issue. Not a common problem... I just changed the front sproket at 8kmi and it looked brand new.
