i have a question regarding the cam tensinor 'stock' tensinor is it adjustable or do i have to buy a new one cuz i have a feeling that its not tight enough, if i can adjust it where can i find a diagram of how to adjust it??

p.s 2002 ZX6R

the honda F4i's had cam tensioners that got streched maybe yours did too..? made some sort of noise too. owners just replaced them with aftermarket stuff

oh cause my bike makes a clicking noise when its cold and when it warms up the noise goes away, and someone told me it might be the cam tenisnor. but ill look more into it

if your bike starts up and sound like a diseal, then you need to replace the cam tensioner. if it just starts up and sounds like a chain is moving, that's normal. most bikes do it.

If it is quiet when it is warm it is probably not the cam chain tensioner. Sounds normal Kawasaki to me. The tensioner advances one "click" at a time. It might be a little noiser just before it advances.
