this guy wants to put 500 dollors on a line and a roll race against my bike and his ss, he says he has everythign done to his engine, but people who know him say i can take him. does anyone think i should bet the 500, i fiquar if i lose ill just race away

first of all, what kind of race is it??What distance and what speed?
If it's a quarter mile race, and you are good at launching it, you will win, unless he has 700 hp....

See if you can take a look under his hood and see what he has. Ya never know, he may have some great shit under there. But check to make sure. If he doesn't have anything than go for it and see if he'll raise it a little. Goodluck if you go for it.

its a quarter mile race, im gonna go for it this weekend, i dont think he has spent several thousand dollors on his car, from what iv heard, ill let you all know how it goes down. iam good at launching my bike, so here goes nothing

I've seen a stock automatic 95ish Camaro run 11.10's on a 150HP NOS fogger. That wasn't an LS1. Not even an SS.

$500 on gas and $250 on a gear change, and your talking 10's with a six speed.

Hmmm......lets see, Camaro (mullet-mobile) SS at roughly 3,500 lbs and 350hp, that is 10lbs/hp, ZX-6R roughly 380lbs and 100hp, that is 3.8lbs/hp. Savor the victory and let us know what you spent the dumbasses $500 bucks on. I've had fast cars, had friends with even faster cars, you can't even comprehend what fast is untill you have ridden a sportbike, mine amazes me everytime I go for a ride.

Ok i am not sayin my bike will always win but almost 10 out of 10 the bike will take the kill. But there is always that one. I owned a vr6 turbo jetta that took a gixer 750 up top and i wasn't tryin hard. But i am not talkin $500 in bolt ons but a full race motor. Even after that i would always go with the bike no matter what. Slight fuck up and he would have had me hard. Catch up is not fun! Even if you are make 700whp in a 2700lb car!

By the way, there is a video of a zx6r drag as seen from the seat onto the instruments cluster on motorcycle.com it`s easy to find....
You just need to slip the clutch, staying at 10 000 RPM, and watch out for wheelies...By the way, don`t start at the middle you will spin like crazy...follow a tire mark...

if you know dick about engines, pop his hood and look for an extra pully in the miidle with in/out air pipes(could have a shiny intake man.). that would be a supercharger. depending on the size and boost ratings that alone could put some serios horspower into an otherwise stock car. check in sneaky places for nos too. but only a rich prick puts nos into a 350, wears it out too fast. he'd honestly have to be pushing 500 to even come close to you. past a 140 he could get you if his gearings right. my dad has a 93 5.0 with tons of mods and dynoed at 410. 3.73 gears. id ride a fuckin wheelie past him. he cant lock up and even when he does im long gone. but if hes gettin a whipplecharger and if it doesnt rip the car in half he might have a shot.
