2005 ZX6R 636 with stock tires. The bike is totally stock

I lost my manual and I can't remember what it is. Thanks!

You will get as many opinions on this as you will on what kind of oil is best.

I personally use 30f-30r on the street.

Well there is something recommended in the manual isn't there? Does anyone know that that is? Thanks though will try 30 30 and see how it works out.

the recommended pressure is 36psi front and 42psi rear thats straight from the manual!!

Thanks! That sounds like a hell of a difference between 30/30 - can you actually ride like that really?

30 30 is the lowest I would go and is really a nice track pressure. I recommend something around 32-33 for the street.

The manual pressure of 36-42 is called a "liability" recommendation. It is not a good street pressure, way too high. Good pressure for two three hundred pound riders though. At that pressure the bike will turn really easily, get slightly better gas mileage, wear out tires in the middle very quickly, and have very poor traction.

I ride 35 front and rear. I ride 30/30 at the track... 30 is too soft for the street you are going to wear out your tires quick.
