im already 1 down in front, and i still want more torq <-- (sp)
if i go up 2 in the back, can i still use my same chain. Oh yeah,
would this be too much gearing for normal riding, (highway about 80-100 mph) shes an 02 if that matters. Thanks for the help. Surely someone will help, right?

I'm also 1 down, and thinking of 3 up in back with the same question.
My friend already has the sprocket though so I'll find out the old fashoned way.

let me know if you do it soon, its gonna be a couple of weeks before i do it. i just assumed 3 would be too many teefers (-->:D)to go up. If it works for u thats what i would really like to do. Sorry man, dont mean to be a follower.

It may be ninjabik....I know that 3 up with a stock 15tooth front will not work. I had to change the damn sprocket twice for a guy one night, he was a little late leaving LOL. Was hoping to get lucky but it turns out the guy is gonna use the 43 and get a new chain. I may just get a new chain too they're not that much like 80 for a cool gold one. Peace
