Yo I'm having a hard time changing gears from 2nd to 3rd in a sitdown or standup wheelie. I have an 03 6r it just seems when I try to switch I loose power and end the wheelie early. It seems impossible on my bike. Can anyone help me that has the same bike with success in shifting?

Why are you trying to shift anyways, just bring it up in 3rd in a standup. Back to your question. If you want to shift and keep it up I ride the ride the wheelie at the balance point and give it just a little more gas so when I let off to shift I catch the bike in the new gear before the fronts drops to much. The only reason I evem shift is if doing long highway wheelies just to drop the rpm or if I pulled it up at 60mph or so and now everyone else in the group sped up so then I will shift to to speed up in the wheelie. I dont recommend doing it because its really easy to flip shifting in a wheelie.

Its just that the RPM's are so high at the end of my wheelie and I thought it would be better for the bike.
