I'm new to the forum and new to Kawasaki. I just picked up a 98 ZX6R. It had a Factory Pro jet kit on it, but it was taken off before I bought it. I was having trouble with the engine bogging at 3k to 4k RPM. The bike ran like that for a while, but now won't run at all. Took out the plugs to find they were fouled. I believe the float level is set too high because of the previous jet kit. Is it possible to adjust the float level externaly? Or do I have to take the carbs apart? Or, do you think I have a different problem entirely? I don't have any kind of repair manual so any help would be greatly appreciated.
