I took my zzr out for its first ride after i wrecked it to check the brakes, and to see if steers straight, and whatever else i can check riding it around the neighborhood. I noticed though that my chain is WAYYYY loose. Adjusting it isn't much of an issue, i know how to do that, but is there something i need to pay extra attention as to why it got that loose?

how many miles since it was last adjusted ? i noticed that my rear tire was knocked out of alignment after it simply got knocked over by a car while it was parked. anyhow, the tension needs to be checked every 400 miles even if it doesnt need adjustment. if you have never adjusted it since new it will definately be loose as it seems to stretch the most within the first couple thousand miles
