Hey everyone, have a quick question...
On my 2001, it seems like the chain is real close to the rear tire. I'm talking about 1 cm or less away. I've never had a problem with it, and I do have the proper size tire on the rear. What do you guys think, should I have my dealer check it out?

I don't think it's a problem. Some bikes run the chain very close to the wheel. So long as you're not seeing witness marks on the tire from the chain, an you would if it was rubbing, there's no need to worry about it. I see you've got a hugger that covers the chain itself. I'm sure the clearence there is about the same as it is to the tire. If that chain was twatting the tire, it'd be knackering that hugger too. So long as chain tension is within spec you needn't worry.
