If you were an engineer, what changes would you like to see to the ZX6R? Digital Speedo?

I would like to see... Digital Fuel Gauge, Refinement of display controls, white faced controls like in some brochures? Smaller marker lamps, Polished/Chrome plated exhaust like the ZX9r, change the crossbar bracket that braces upper fairing.

Of course anyone could list aftermarket ideas "L.E.D." Hugger, Undertail, race exhaust.... and it would be great if you could purchase from the factory that way... But considering governmental control/EPA.

Honestly, I think the R6 is one the best FACTORY finished sports bike out there. But that's why they are expensive and everyone has one.

I would like to see:
Digital Cockpit (gas gauge optional)
Clear Led Rear lenses
Color matched Undertail kit
Functional hugger
Fuel Injection
Optional Rim selection (polished/chrome, painted, powder coated)
Higher tail
Gas Tank can be a bit more narrow

The turn signals can't really be touched since they have to be a certain size

Biggest thing I'd like to see is the removal of that fuel petcock, and maybe a fuel gauge.

localbar - optional rim selection?? excellent idea, i think that would be a huge seller for the 6r's.

better brakes...you nuts? The brake on the zx-6r kick ass. I think they are proably the best of all the 600ss bikes.

Yup, I said better brakes.

I love teh 6 pot stoppers up front and they do stop ya fast. I'm talking about brake FEEL and modulation. They feel a bit wooden/hard to finesse compared to my buddy's 954 (don't get me wrong, I don't think I'll ever ride Honda). Maybe it's just me but I think there is room for improvement on the way the brake feels.

I wish the 6R would have the seat from the 9R, much better.

Exhaust.

It should have a higher exit point.

Another 5-10 HP on the top end wouldn't hurt either.

I think with the money you save (over the other 600's) you can get all these things.

Seat, you can get aftermarket (corbin) very comfy
Exhaust, you can get a high pipe and a full system with Ivan's Jet Kit you'll have an extra 10HP =)

Me I like the Gauges to stay Analogue. Well maybe just the tacho
FI would be nice and get rid of the fuel petcock even a low level fuel
light would be better.
The Upper fairing brace well thats already gone just like the zx9r.[636 model]
Standard carbon hugger would be nice
and dump those rubber foot pegs !!! yuck
and last a "Light" can instead of that horrible fat heavy piece of
shit . Carbon or Ti would be great with nice sound <img src=icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle> am I asking too much ???
