I bought a -1 front sprocket and I was trying to install it. I knew it would be tight but Holy shit, so anyways my question is, is it a CW thread or a CC thread?? I didn't want to tighten it more. Any help would be appreciated.
it is a normal thread (right tight lefty loosey). You HAVE to make sure the retaining washer is flat - use the socket and a hammer tap tap to ensure that. then, either put the nose against a wall or put an ax handle in the spokes on the swingarm, and get thyself the biggest breaker bar in your toolchest. Bike in nuetral.
ps I know what I am doing, have a huge breaker bar, and still had to give up and take it down the street to have a mechanic with an impact wrench wiz the fugging thing off for me.
