Jsut wondering what u guys use to clean your brake calipers, I was about to go out to the store and get some brake cleaner but just wanted to see what everybody else is using. I just cant seem to get them clean and they look like crap.
dont forget your brake seals are rubber and any oil based products will attack the rubber and cause them to bloat , use a mild detergent or brake fluid to clean the caliper and dont get any on the paintwork.
Try 'Castrol Metal Parts Cleaner' for motorcycles. Its not very expensive and works great! I even use it on my chain. It doesn't attack rubber, so the rings in your chain and the little bits in your brakes are safe.
