Got new friction plates in the mail today + new springs. Went for Kawi OEM zx6r vs. 12r springs, should work just fine.
My question is how big of a job is it. I have kawi manual, and it looks pretty easy. Anything I should watch out for?
No it's real easy if you are at all inclined to do such work. I did it on my 02' and the whole job took about 45 minutes from start to finish! Just make sure you soak the new fibers for about 40-45 minutes in some fresh oil, and make sure the adjustment is correct when done. Good luck (I think proper break in is 1 healthy burnout followed by a top speed run) j/k
