Today I was at a stop sign with a 30 degree angle hill, my 250 just wouldnt want to go. I gave it gas and release the clutch and the bike moved alittle, but felt like it wanted to die out. Pulled back in the clutch and revved it more than usual (not sure how much) and it it finally went. This happen like 3 other occasions when its on a hill.

Clutch slipping and going bad or am I not giving it enough revs?

Do not know how much you weigh but I am 200+. I have to rev my 2011 quite a bit to take off up a steep grade. It does not take much revs at all to take off of flat ground for me. It does not sound like your clutch was slipping, just need to give it more revs to take off up hill, especially on a 250.

Clutch slipping would result in the motor revving but not moving the bike. Just give it some more throttle as you ease the clutch out.

30 degrees is a bloody steep hill.

I was a OTR truck driver for the last 7 years and just got out of the industry but am 50 lbs over weight. I feel sorry for my 250r having to tote my lard ass around.
