Most people seem to have problems shifting when they first get a ZX-6R I've noticed - I know I certainly did. You probably need to be a little more forceful with your shift.

hey how do i know if my clutch is set correctly and if its not how do i fix it? also could this be why when sometime i shift from 1 to 2 it goes neutral or is that just me?

When i first got my ZX-6R, i did that a little too. You just have to shift a little harder. I've also notice that it gets worse the longer you go between oil changes. So if you haven't done an oil change in a while that could be it.
