$150 !!!??? for something that I made myself from spare aluminum in my garage. And I used the stock holes so I didn't have to cut into my fairings.
Well glad that you are happy with it and it does look better than the mudflap...
Guess I need to start making more and selling them for $100 to make a good profit...hmmm

hehe if you were selling them i would have definately bought one. this kit though is made from brushed stainless steel and uses all the existing holes also the only drilling done was in pic2 for the turn signal wires. but ya if you got the materials and tools you should make like 10 or 20 kits and see how they do...sell them online! maybe even use LED lights and polished aluminum to jazz it up a bit and make even more money :D

LOL Skiv... that's what my buddy said - he had about 8 of them made up for basically peanuts - and said he was gonna sell them for $40 each. He ended up giving 6 of them away for free to our other riding buddies, so now he's gonna LOSE money if he doesn't SELL the other two! :)

Yeah I am bad about stuff like that also. There are 2 other 6Rs in the area that I already told that I would take their fenders off and make a plate for them! They just have to buy the lights. I really don't mind helping others out, and usually do it at a loss of $$ to me, which is why I will never have my own business. Years ago it seemed like anyone who still had a fender came to me so I could cut it off for them. Oh well, time doesn't change much. I still like doing stuff myself, usually cheaper, and more satisfying for me.

Lee, it still looks good. I hope it came with the signals and the license plate light at least. I am still trying to pefect the way I illuminate my plate. I am trying to find the neon that import guys put around thier radios in clear. Mostly I find red, blue, or green. Just another idea I am working on.
