you can make your own if you can find a small piece of aluminum or stainless steel. not real hard, myself and some others have made them. all you really need is a saw, dremel tool, and/ or a drill, and a little time. I can't really see paying that much money for something I can make myself.

[?]Has anyone bought the tail eliminator kit from Competition works? How hard is it to install? Is there a better kit out there?[?]

the CW kit was too big and complicated compared to the TARGA kit, plus it was 3 times as much money! i went with the TARGA for $50 and im happy with it.

I would advise you to buy some short stalks and a little shhet of 16 gauge aluminum and fabricate your own. It doesn't take long and will save you some $$$

here's a link for you. just be aware (maybe do a search) the hardware kits on the TARGA kit is far from complete. you might have to improvise and use some of your own bolts, nuts, crimp-on connectors, etc... the actual license plate mount (the black L bracket that you're really paying for) is nice though. they were even nice enough to swap out the clear short stalks for amber ones for me, per my request [8D]
