Hi all,

Made a little suspension experiment yesteray; I set the sag correctly (static approx 30mm front, 15mm rear) then removed all compression damping (fully out) front and rear. Result: on the road it seems smoother! doesn't dive/squat too much either. Is it I'm halucinating or does this bike have way too much compression damping set into the suspension as standard for the road? Does anyone else have any comments?

Paul.

Argh, I'd say I'd get into ALL KINDS of trouble during hard riding set up that way... especially on the front end. How much do you weigh and what kind of riding are you doing? That's WAY too soft (on the front anyway) for me. I backed mine off on the rear slightly, and actually stiffened the front comp and rebound up a bit. I weigh 215-218 pounds, and do a lot of aggressive twisty rides.
