This is just my opinion on this topic.
Daytona makes a marginal damper, nothing fancy and it does an average job. Its really going to depend on what kind of riding you do. If you are an aggressive rider, I advise you invest (yes invest)in a better suiting damper such as the scotts, GPR, or ohlins. It takes one bad slapper to put your butt and your bike on the ground, around a tree, into oncoming traffic...etc. The choice is yours. Just my $.02
