I was able to take off the all the decals on my fairing, but the ones on the tank appear to be paint-glazed.... anybody know of a way (besides re-painting) I could remove the tank decals??? Thanks!

Definitely heat them up. I removed all my decals on the plastic with a burnisher and a heat gun. REAL EASY, maybe 1 hour for both sides. Heat the decals and scrape them from one corner to center with a plastic scraper. Once the decal is off, remove all the sticky gum with goo-gone (or lots of windex in a pinch) and polish clean. Voila!
