Hey Everybody.

Just picked up my ride today.

LOVE IT! :D

2005 - Ninja 250

Got this puppy for $2000.00 - only 6,000 miles!

This was the best deal I could find.

It is extremely clean without a scratch.

Garage kept full-time.

Look forward to meeting the new group.

Later.

Wish you the best in keeping it that way. Are you new to riding or just slumming?

Great deal and outstanding condition bike.

Welcome to KF and the madness that is the 250R forum.

have fun, ride safe

This is my 3rd bike and have plenty of experience and gear.

The only issues I'm looking into now is the clutch lever is a bit squeaky.

Also, I really miss the GP Shift on my Yamaha.

Does anyone know if the Ninja is easily converted to use the GP Shift pattern?

Is there a "How To" and "FAQ" for the Gen1 Ninja?

I see the 2008 FAQ sticky.

Thanks for the Welcome everyone.

Seems like a nice group of folks here.

Look forward to getting in on a "Ninja Group Ride" one day.

 Great find and nice looking bike. You did get a good deal. You are asking about Gen 1 but your bike is a Gen 2. Now Kelly (and about 76 others if I count right) will correct me if I'm wrong. Gen 1 was the 1986 and 1987 models, Gen 2 is 1988 through 2007, and Gen 3 starts with the 2008.

Welcome and have fun.

Thanks!

Yeah, the Color Scheme caught my eye as well.
Never had seen the combo before.

But of course, I do have a Dark Side that craves a Raven Edition Anything.

About the generations, I was unclear on that.

Appreciate the correction.
