After having a lot of people asking about cheaper exhausts, I decided to try something other than a Yoshimura on this project bike, and went with the 8" Delkevic Carbon Full System. While it's defintely not as high quality, it's not a bad system overall. All the fitment was spot on, all pieces were included, along with new exhaust gaskets. The one thing I will forewarn about, is the Bazzaz AFM shows the bike running extremely lean under certain conditions at stock fueling, unlike the Yoshimura Alpha that I run on the Z650. So, if you ever consider installing this cheaper system, you best intend on putting forth the extra money for a fuel controller, or you could possibly regret it in the long run. I'll post up a video in the coming week of adjusting all the fuel settings, where it started, and where it's at now for AFR's, but until then, here is a fairly detailed install video of the system on this 2009 Ninja 650.

Would love to see your timing Fuel / timing maps, running Delkevic full SS w/14” stubby oval (baffle removed), pair delete, PC6 (w/autotune) on my ‘07. Low rpm is a nice deep note (seems like longer can=deeper), high sounds great too 👍. Appreciate your vids.

That’s a good point. Forgot to mention I removed the snorkels / added filter but didn’t cut or drill the box like I believe he did. Without the PC it pops a lot and has just a little hesitation off idle (slow maneuvering) that’s with air changes. Adding fuel with PC corrected both (though I kept a pop tune on map2). Adding AT (single channel) smoothed everything out. Also the AT o2 sensor is a direct fit to the Delkevic bung. Quality/fitment of the Dekevic SS system is quite good, bolts up easy, can is well made. They actually respond if you have questions too. I like the look and get a lot of comments now. Great deal (under 400$) for the full SS system especially for a daily or project, would def buy again. Still looking for timing info (how much is safe to add) from anyone that’s added timing on the 650.
