Just had a new chain put on. Its a DID.

This is the second replacement chain. first one I went with oem chain.

I am noticeing what seems like a chain buzz with this chain.

can anyone tell me if that is normal.

or maybe did they not align something up right.

I had the sprockets changed too. ( they are new ) ( and the same tooth count )

thank guys for any input.

I just replaced my OEM chain with an EK chain (very similar) ... and I noticed that my new chain "buzzes" more than my old one. I changed my rear sprocket at the same time as well. As long as you are in alignment etc... I would say it is normal.

I changed my chain and sprockets earlier this summer and mine made some noise but it went away after a ride or two. It was like a whirling sound. I posted up about it and now I forget what I was told about why it does that but nothing to worry about.

It's really hard to diagnose that without actually hearing it. New chains are tighter than used chains and will make a little noise (but not much). Make sure you have a the right amount of tension and that the sprockets are aligned. After that, there's not a whole lot to do.
