Am I supposed to block off the breather holes on the head, right below the carbs? There are 3 holes 1 plugged(nonCA model) 4 holes with cA model. I finally got my bike runnign and had done the mod but the bke runs like crap. It won't idle and is running on like 3 cylinders. If the choke is taken off it will die, and have tried to adjust the idle. Any thoughts?

I had the same problem , when I changed my plugs, which was really weird , my bike wouldn't run on all 4 cylinders in the 4 cylinder on new plugs.... but just when I switched it to the old one it worked fine.... that was really weird.
another thing sometimes you can get dirt in the carbs in the your fuel, some you might have to clean the carbs, give it a try... what I did one time I put some compressed air into my air bix, and kept on reving at 8'000 rpms for like 15 seconds untill it started running fine.
If that doesn't work take them apart and clean them sepreatlly.

I just went through and cleaned the carbs beofre starting the bike up.
