At cold start-up, I get a slight dimming of the tach/speedo and headlights when my idle is weak. As soon as the idle goes above 1000rpm and on to it's set point at 1200, the dimming is gone.
Is this only because the alt. isn't spinning fast enough at the cold weak idle? My Cobra does the same thing with it's underdrive pulleys due to the alt not being spun fast enough at low idle speed.
Do any of you see this same thing or is this a stator issue?
