My clutch engages really hi up in the stroke of the lever. When i fully pull the lever towards the bar to put in the gear, it doesn't engage untill i almost completely let go of the lever. Do i need a new clutch? My bike has 5500mi on it. Who makes a good clutch for a 02 6r?

Yea sounds like your cable might just be loose,
there is a silver wheel right where the cable connects to the clutch lever, if you spin that you should be able to see it get looser/tighter depending on which way you go.
You want to leave it with a little bit of slack, maybe 2mm or so (whatever that is in inches I dunno)

I don't like a lot of play in my clutch. I like it be disengaged by the time I pull it in with two fingers and hit my other 2. To each their own.

Dan...comfortable enough with his manhood to ride a 600.
