!!This may have been a bad idea but i did it anyways!! I have a 03 zx-6rr, with the crappy looking coffee can of an exhaust. I am still saving up for an aftermarket exhaust (of which i cannot decide which to buy). In the mean time i removed my exhaust from the bike, took a 1"1/8 hole saw(used for drilling holes in metal, wood etc) and drilled a hole through the baffle you can see when you look into the ass end of the exhaust. Now living in MN in january doesnt give me the chance to road test it but I did wind it up to 8k rpm and i can detect i higher pitch whine, not to mention a couple decibels louder. If anyone has tried this, or if anyone knows that this is hard on the engine give me some feedback.

whats wrong with the "crappy coffee can of an exhaust"? I doubt puttin a hole in the baffle is gonna get you anything. Just noise. It's the placebo effect
