5500R's, let clutch out fast but smooth. I shift right before redline.

Basically, ride the edge of traction off the line(or edge of looping).

I have 2000 zx6r lowered <--- This helps a lot.K&n Air filter and a two brothers slip on. My best time is 7.5 @ 118 mph. This is in the 8th cause i have to go to bradenton to go to the Qt and its about 2 hours away.. My 60Ft always suck cause I'm not very good at taking out.But what i do is race the rpms to 6000. And slowly let the clutch out. Know some times i start spinning then i just let go and get back on it. All bikes are different best thing to do is go and try over and over.i was in the 8 for like 3 times i went to the track.

Sounds like a 1/4mi time... but that is still a little high for an E/T and a low trap for your bike. Are you stock?
