i read a couple months back that michelin was going to produce a dual compound pilot power with soft sides and a harder middle.
has anyone heard anything about this or where to get them.

They are highly not recomended for commuting road race and track days yes, if u want a dual compaound commuting tire Bridgestone make one which as a real hard compound in the middle and med sides, as commuting will definately give u squared tires

I have them, the best street tires I ever bought. I got them on ebay for 275 shipped. When the heat up the sidewall gets really soft, stable and confident through the corners.

The centers are just like regular pilot powers and the sides are 20% softer.

I mainly use them for canyon riding, I try not to waste them on commuting.
