I just bought some ngk cr9ek spark plugs. should they be gapped to kawi reccomendations for the single electrode. Also are they gapped in the same manner as conventional plugs.

I'm running those plugs and pondered the same thing. I put them in the way they came. I am afixin' to pull them out after about 10,000 miles to take a look at them and put in a new set. Maybe someone with a bike that runs dual electrode plugs stock like the ZX-12R will give us some insight.

Use the gap specified by Kawasaki, 0.7 to 0.8 mm.
