SW is right. Have you ever seen a dyno test done? If you are squeemish about your bike being run hard, I suggest you don't watch then. They rev 'em to redline slowly and hold. It's painful. I'd make sure your bike is COMPLETELY broken in and had regular service (oil changes, etc.) prior to doing it.

put the can on ow,they sound ace.

I'd wait till it's had it's 4000 mile serivce before you get a dyno run done.

go out and thrash the tits off it now to get it run in properly.

Depends on how you broke in your first 600 miles. I say wait until at least 1200. Give it some bursts to redline and down. Then stick it on the dyno for some remaining break in time. I remember my first dyno run it was like 100 degrees and humid, Guy backed it off the dyno trailer and shut it off. I was thinking, fuck better take it down the road to cool off, Bike wouldn't start. I panic and immediately went to the guy to question him, he hit the kill switch and left it in the off position. My bad, but I never hit the kill switch, that's why I about shit myself.

legend_of_chaos, do you have an '03 sixxer. If so, give some details on the akraprovik. How's the sound of idle, midrange, and WOT? Also, where do you notice the most power. I'm strongly thinking about an exhaust for the summer and this might be the one.

Why do you want a dyno run?
If it's just for a power figure then I wouldn't bother, all dynos are different and it isn't going to tell you very much.
If however you are going to get an air/fuel ratio reading with a view to optimising performance then it may be worth considering.
Appreciate that your engine will achieve maximum power after about 10000 to 16000 miles IMO.
