i get a funny engine noise. at exactly 5500 RPM. its something like a vibration but not from the suspension or anything when i go higher or lower on rpm's it goes away. [xx(]plus the bike feels a little bit like its holding back. i only have 1700 miles on it and changed the oil once. i'm thinkin air filter.... any ideas?

Air filters don't make noise.
Its probably something in the emission's system. Theres a valve thing on the head that opens and closes, so that's probably what you're hearing.

no i say the air filter cuz it almost sounds like a miss. kinda like sputtering.
