Hello, I've just bought a -07 ER-6 F, or Ninja 650 as they're called in the USA. I thought I'd get used to the handlebar vibration, but now I've decided I'll have to do something about it.

It's perhaps not so bad really, but I am spoilt having owned a GPZ 500 for ten years, which is totally vibration free.

The obvious solution is a fork yoke from a -09 or later bike, with rubber-isolated bars. I've found and ordered one on ebay, the problem is that the steering lock on the newer bikes is located in the frame, not in the fork yoke. So I'll have to device a way to attach the steering lock to the new model yoke.

Has anyone done this before? Please explain how! And did the new yoke reduce vibrations?
