Hi I'm planning my NC500 trip aboard my 2012 er6f. I'm trying to think of useful mods to make the journey more comfortable such as hand guards or a larger screen? I know very little about bikes so just popping on for some advice. What about using versus parts? Any hints or help welcome! Zara

I've done a lot of touring on my completely naked Er6-n so you should be good to go as you are:

The only times when you really "need" the moto touring stuff is on the motorway or when the weather turns bad.
I remember riding a friend's Er6-f and it was not good for me as the windblast from the screen was hitting me right under my helmet but it was ok for him as he is a bit shorter.

In general, every little helps when it comes to touring comfort but good planning is what makes a trip both comfortable and awesome
