What is the best method of keeping the plastic fairings in good shape? Clearly wax is best for the metal tank but how about the rest? I have used 303 on my plastic kayaks in years past with great results.

i use that liquid ice wax stuff on mine, anything thats colored, its made for plastic and metal and easy to use

The same type product you would use on any painted surface of your car. While the fairings are made of plastic, they are sprayed with paint. You are taking care of the paint on the surface, not the plastic underneath.

Yea I keep hearing people say they use Plexus on their fairings but I don't understand why, because the fairings are painted just like the gas tank. I use Meguire's synthetic tech wax.

Give it a good wax and wipe it down in between rides to keep dirt and grime from settling on the paint.
