Hello,
As my first post I would to give my two cents and tell everybody that doesn't have frame sliders to get some. A couple days ago I took a turn too hot on a mountain road and ended up sliding into a small ravine, luckily my frame slider that I just installed caught on a ledge and stopped my bike from careening down the hill and into my a$$.
Ok, now the question. Obviously I cracked and scraped the crap outta of my rightside fairing and my front fairing. Is it possible to take it to an autobody shop and have them fix it? Or would it cost more than replacing them? Any advice is much apprecitated.

Will

fix the plastic yourself, there a product called plastic fix, and it works like bondo.

pick up some plumbers "goop" which is made for abs plastics, glue them back together, and use the plastic fix compound like bondo to fill in any imperfections. sand, prime, and they are off to the painter.

How do you get the paint off? (In home method) or is that part all up to the painter.
There is talk about fixing plastics, but how do you fix it if pain is still on?
