can anyone tell me what rpm a 2003 zx6r is supposed to run at when the fast idle is on? i think mine is too low.

also how do you adjust this?

the fast idle is controlled by the lever

your idle (set with fast idle off and bike warm) should be ~1300 RPM

hes right altho i like mine a bit higher 1500, with the fast idle on i beleive its arund 2500 or somthing , can't realy remember, if your normal idle is finethen don't worry about it if they're both low use the idle adjustment knob under the seat on the left side of the bike to increase it...

its supposed to be 1250 to 1350 at normal and jumps 2000 higher with idle . owners manual says it
