The more info you give us, the better your chances.

Your entry must contain the following information:

Year:
Model:
Accessories:
Mods:
And the story:
And a Picture of course

Bike of the Month Rules:
1. Must be a Kawasaki.
2. The bike must be currently owned by you. No exceptions.
3. Entries without all the required information are not eligible.
4. Don't clutter the entries or the forum with unneccisary posts or threads. Entrants can create a new thread in the BOTM section for discussion of their entry with the members, but only entries placed in THIS thread for THIS month will be eligible.
5. Winners are only eligible once per year. No re-entries by previously featured BOTM's please.
6. Only ONE POST per entry. We don't want 5 posts with a bazillion pics. One post is enough. If we want more pics, we shall request them.

The first 10 people to enter this contest correctly will be entered officially. Once we have all 10 entries (I will delete the incorrect ones), then I will add a poll and it will close on the 28th, declaring a winner.

Voting will begin on the 20th regardless of how many entries are in (max 10)

****************************************************

KF members, we have discovered that this months BOTM contest winner broke the KF rules by creating duplicate accounts for the purpose of boosting his own entry in the poll.

Generally, any member caught using multiple accounts is banned from the site permanently. This member in particular has been caught for posting from duplicate accounts in the past and was given a warning, he chose to take advantage of our kindness and treat it as a weakness. This member will be permanently banned from KF's and will forfeit BOTM regardless of the amount of actual votes cast by himself for himself.

10. - Duplicate accounts are not permitted. Any member creating duplicate accounts will face sanctions such as a ban.
Steps are being made to ensure that this cannot happen again and we apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused to the entrants.

As for BOTM winner, it will either default to the runner-up or a new poll will be put up. stay tuned...

Year: 2005

Model: zx-6r

Accessories:
pearl white paint
puig db windshield
hotbodies hugger
frame sliders
spools
integrated tail light
"flush" mount blinkers
put new oem-style decals back on the bike for a stock look
a couple other small aesthetic mods (stickers on rims and levers)
...and i think that's it

oh yea...i also filled in the middle bolt hole on the right side lower. i replaced that bolt a couple times but the damn things always vibrated out. anyone else have that problem?

Mods:
carbon fiber scorpion slip on exhaust
power commander
gpr steering damper
k&n air filter
exhaust has been wrapped

And the story:
ok yall, 2005 636 here. this was my first REAL sportbike (had an old suzuki gn 125 as my first bike, then a buell blast) that i bought new from the stealership. it used to be magma red. i chose that color because it was pretty unusual at the time. it was a beautiful color, but i found a pic that someone photoshopped and it sparked my interest. it was solid white with gold accents. so that's what i was shooting for. after a slow lowside in the neighborhood (damn gravel...), i replaced the right side lower and had her painted. it's not straight white. it's hard to tell in the pic, but it's actually a pearl white. i love the color. i thought about selling it recently and actually bought an 03 zx-9r this summer to replace it but i just can't bring myself to sell my 636. it's a beautiful bike and it's never done me wrong!

can i postwhore for myself? more 636 goodness:

real carbon fiber tank pad (it even matches my exhaust):

here's a better pic of the hotbodies hugger. a lot of people ask me if it rubs the tire. it does not. i chose those one because i really like how close it is to the tire. it actually "hugs" the tire and looks much better than some other options out there IMO

shameless re-repost from my late November + December + apparently Feb non-entry from a different thread

Year:
2006
Model:
Ninja 650R (EX-650)
Accessories:
Catalyst composites upper, lower, tail, undertail
woodcraft 2 piece clipons
custom LED turnsignal mirrors
ZG 636 DB screen
Vortex custom fairing bracket
05 ZX6R gauge
Pazzo shorty gold levers
woodcraft CFM rearsets in black
custom built seat I made from a 636 saddle
Leo Vince SBK slipon
Clear alternatives integrated taillight
Dual HID projector retrofit with CCFL rings
Mods:
pair valve removal
PCIII
...and a GT12 sitting on the workbench at the moment
And the story:
Bought bike originally just for the inline twin engine - I love torque, engine braking and not having a screaming 4 cylinder. Took the bike through a long list of mods over a couple of years, until deciding to go all out and build myself a virtual inline twin supersport. One of a kind, and most people get really confused when they see and hear the bike (which is why I went for an incognito factory paint job).

I'd like to enter my bike for your consideration as the February BOTM.
Thanks for your time and consideration.

Year:1991
Model:ZX7R ( a real K1)
Accessories: Performance Machine wheels,Hindle exhaust,Sudco Racing
carb kit,Vortex rear sets,Goodridge brake lines Sprocket Specialists sprockets(front: -2 teeth,rear: stock 42tooth)

Mods:Idle circuit solenoid removal, pair valve removal

And the story:It is a real K1 ZX7R. These came with the aluminum fuel tank,Kiehin 39mm FCR flatslide carbs, close ratio transmission, solo tail, fully adjustable suspension and a few engine mods over the standard ZX7's of the era. They're very rare bikes.
It was in nasty shape (wrecked) when I bought it.Had to replace upper and both lowers as well as repair the tail and the tank.I've slowly acquired all the parts to rebuild it over the last 6 years. Finally got it done this summer. All the usual decals were painted on with the exception of the "ninja" on the tank and the "Kawasaki" logo on the lowers.
