Does anyone know where I would be able to get a simple fender eliminator kit on the web for a 01' ZX6R? Thanks

How about Targa. I got my setup from them on my 03ZX6RR and it is simple and works great. 49.99 for them. You can find them on their website.

There aren't many "simple" fender eliminators for the 6Rs prior to '03. Depending on what you've already done... You could remove the reflector above the plate, move the plate up, and then cut off the rest of the mudguard from the bottom of the plate in a nice line. (Here's a pic of my first tail mod.)

Of course it didn't last long before I decided to make my own undertail and move the plate...
(Which does involve cutting along the tail section's body lines through part of the trunk.)

...I just couldn't justify spending a couple hundred dollars on a piece of plastic when I was able to make one out of steel and have it powder coated for a grand total of like $30.oo (plus turn signals). But to each their own.

Here's a couple links to sites with undertails for the '00 - '02s:

BSHAP, thanks for all the links. It's much appreciated! Those prices for a piece of aluminum is pretty steep. Makes me wish sometimes I had an 03' zx6r they get the sweet kits for $20 on ebay[:p]. I was hoping that I would be able to find a decent simple kit for around that price. I think if I was to dish out $150+ I should go all the way out and get the Eurobikes Original undertail kit for $250 painted. If you still find any links, please keep them coming... Thanks again!

I would steer clear from Competition Werkes....I bought it and felt as though I had just caught my cock in the zipper....

the thing sucked....

I've got the Huge Industries one on there now and I'm pleased with it...

www.hugeindustries.com

has some sweet turn signals that go along with it...and the matching front ones fit like a glove

this is what I did to mine. I just pulled the stock plastic ugly crap off and tucked the LP. There are three holes in the undertail that can be seen but I am eventually going to have a custom paint job done to is so I will have the paint and body guys fill in those holes. I dont think it looks to bad and it saved me a lot of money. I also put in a custom tail light that works with the stock housing and it has the blinkers built into the LED circuit board.
