Well, it has been almost 7 weeks, but I finally got my hugger today and not a moment too soon as the postal strike here in Canada is to start tonight @ midnight, phew!

Nearly 7 weeks?!?! ...Where did you order it from?? Mine is on order through http://www.superbikestore.com/ZX6R 00+.htm and thankfully the postal strike IS holding off for now!

7 weeks seems like a very long time, but at least you got it now. its looking good. 1 very quick question. do aftermarket huggers serve a purpose other than looks. i mean do they help cut down on flinging mud or anything like that. cause it comes with a stock hugger, but the shape is different (at least on the '03).

Spoon - His bike is not an 03, so it didn;t already have a factory installed hugger like yours did. And yes, it does keep the mud of the shiny bits in front of it rather well, AND it looks good. It's a win-win!
