Hey RyDin,

What gloves are you wearin?

If you have the "Tour Master" gloves with the Kevlar in em, that is just too funny.

I have the same year bike, same helmet, and same gloves.

Even if those aren't them, you have damn good taste.

1st-snyd-not trying to be a dick! but.....i hate it when people hate on people who dont wear full leathers out in front of their own house doing a stoppie.i live in orlando and its fukin hot here and i were a joe rocket jacket and all my gear 80 percent of my riding time and it gets way freakin hot so flame on.i suppose u wear ur full leathers and your tecnik boots down to ur local walgreens down 1 mile from ur house too.
~unreel- up inside of ur front fairing their is a hole in there on both sides. put a screwdriver in there to get the stock lights off. connect the wires of the aftermarket to the original lights to ur turnsignals. forget whether black to red or vise but one or the other.sorry. i bought them from a local dealership and counldnt tell ya the brand name. thanx!
~oregon- i believe they are those ones i forget but the leather in the palm are and my finger tips broke threw and i went and bought a different kind. but yea they were great for the few months they lasted. to all be safe and thanx

Ninja... no, I do not wear my full leathers when riding daily in the city, but I sure would use them, and my Sidi Vertebra, and my Spidi Airback, when doin' stunts for the first time. Now... that's ME!!

I don't hate anyone for not wearing them, so I cannot see why you hate me. I just don't think that's a clever thing to do. Doin' a stoppie takes what? 1 minute? No matter how hot it is, you sure can survive in full leathers on hot sun for a minute...

If you fall to the side you can get your foot stuck under the bike, braking it... and then you have to walk with castings for a month, watching your bike waiting in the garage... I prefer not to. Even if I have to cook for a minute in the sun...

Well, it's hard to protect your entire leg, but I talked about your foot. Some proper boots could just make the difference between riding or not for a month.

Or, for example, your elbow. With a riding jacket, the pads could save you from hitting the ground hard and shatter it...

Maybe I'm a pussy, or maybe I like to keep myself on one piece, so I can ride everyday... it's ones call.

Nice stoppie man! Was it a a rollin one or a dead stop? I get real nervous tryin to do the rolling ones cuz I have locked it up a few times. Practice, practice I guess. Props for wearing your helmet, nothing else is going to make a major difference in a slow speed get-off anyway. I hear your complaint about hot weather, I'm in AZ, my mesh jacket makes me look responsible but I have no illusions about real crash protection from it.

<---- not willing to drop or wreck my bike in an attempt to do a stunt. Its just not worth it because with my luck I'll wreck and cause some major damages (which i wouldn't be able to afford to fix). Its that, or maybe I'm just a p*ssy....you decide. =)

NICE STOPPIE THOUGH!!

Ahh suck!

Hey, Ninja Rydin, forget about the t-shirt vs. leathers. I think it's pretty obvious that everyone rides as he wants...

I have another question: when you stop on the front wheel, only, the back of the bike falls down, right? Even releasing the front brake to smooth the rear descent, doesn't it hit the ground too "painfully" (for the bike, that is)?

Wilder than the wildest dreams!

the more u ride them and practice the smoother they will come down. at first they will slam down and doesnt really do anything bad. i doubt u can blow ur spring or sumthing but that sound it makes when it comes down has to do with ur chain i believe. but its not anything to serious. i have yet heard of a stoppie having somethin to do with anything unless u stoppie over and that im sure is painfull.

I was wondering, do you do any brake upgrades like getting bigger rotors or aftermarket calipers or just plain old good brake pads? any recomendations/suggestions?

Fo shizzel I have the same year and color damn that shit looks good, Now I had a ZX7 1994 and felt fine doing Endos/stoppies Im old school. but the ZX6R 2002 with the higher bars seems more difficult to me to do stoppies. Safety first; but I did wheeles and endos in my young days on my CR125 and the Ninja with no helmet cause I knew when I got to this ripe old age of 35 married with baby flash my son nobody would belive I did tricks on my bike. Well, now you have the pictures to prove you got skills be safe and do your thing bra holla, ONE!
