Today I finally decided to hit the track for some fun.
This was my first time ever running a bike down the 1320'
The bike is 100% stock, with zero performance mods (not even the jumper mod)

I was babying it out of the hole and never pushed it hard enough to lift the front end.

1st run
60' = 2.193
1/8 = 8.161
1/4 = 12.061 @ 123.98mph

2nd run
60' = 2.111
1/8 = 7.888
1/4 = 11.771 @ 124.59mph

3rd run
60' = 1.982
1/8 = 7.573
1/4 = 11.444 @ 124.65mph

I know that if I actually beat it off the line, I can break into the 10s, but my goal for the first time out was to break into the 11s.

my goal is to get into the 10's as well, like you my bike is 100% stock, these were my results of my 1'st day at the track. (i have however had previous experience at the 1/4, but on a different bike)

i guess I should note, that was my *best* result of the day, my 1'st three runs went 11.3, 11.2, 11.2 was gradually getting better.

I figure that with more practice, I should be able to cut a 1.8s 60', and that should put me in the 10s.
I've also installed an AKRAPOVIC slip on, so I will hit the track again to see if it made any difference.

~185 lbs here.
I know there's more it the bike. Like I said, I didn't even beat it hard enough out of the hole to lift the front wheel. The bike has 10s potential if you ride it hard enough.

I had an '04 636 I bought brand new added a slip-on ,K&N and dog bones and strapped in the front.Ran a 10.78 @ 128mph.I read in Sport Rider Magazine in the bike test where they ran 10.30 @ 131mph.Now I don't think they can strap the bike down in their test so the rider is obviously good. Just imagine what he could have done on mine with everything I had done to it.Muzzy's strapped a 10-R down added a full race exhaust Power Commander and removed the air cleaner and ran some 8.90's @157 or so.I could not have made it run that but it shows what they are capable of.
