Flush mounts for front turn indicators

Check out the easy fender eliminator topic under the general discussion. The flush mounts on the bike are LP V's. They fit really well if you ask me, and are pretty cheap. The irdium ones would look tight on a blue 636!:D

Does any one have any form fitting options that seem to look almost factory to get rid of the gargantuan front signals without making it look cut up. By the way, this is for a 03 636 in blue.

For an 03: How would I connect the LP V flush mounts to the bike? I know how to remove the stock blinkers, and I know that the LP V just uses double-sided tape but I don't know whether the connectors on the LP V can just be inserted into the stock connectors. Any soldering required? Thanks in advance.

P.S. I'm practically clueless when it comes to tinkering with electronics. [:I]
No soldering is required. You have to canabalize the stock signal connectors though. The LP V's come with the crush connectors. You cut the original connectors off the turn signals, strip them, insert them into the V's connectors, and crush them shut. Tape them up, connect them, and they are ready to go. I didn't get any fast blinking from the signals out of installing them either. Really east & took about 10 minutes for each.
I got this short stalk adaptor kit from Huge Industries (www.hugeindustries.com) that lets you use basically any short stalks with the Ninjas featuring those honkin-huge stock signals... and I mounted LP SS2 short stalks... here's a couple pics...

Why bother with turn signals when hand signals get more attention anyway? Here in Michigan turn signals aren't required - even though most people probably don't know what to make of hand signals at least they take notice of the guy on the bike waving his hand like he's gonna change a lane or something!

Chaos, panic, disorder......

my work here is done
Strong bad, in florida, they are required, so flush or short is the only way to go. I am going to try the LP V's first, and if that doesn't work, the short stalk's will have to do.

DJ,

I am glad you posted those pic's of your shortstalks, I have been having a hard time deciding which to go for. I will be getting the shortstalks like yours but black/clear to match my rear lights (Targa Kit) I think you said somewhere that you got the wiring kit?Anyway they look like the best fit.

DJ, did you just order the 02 zx6r adapters? 03 is not a choice on hugeindustries site. I tried emailing you direct but each time I click on your name I get "you must be logged in to view member profiles." So I log in, says it is successful, returns me to the thread automatically, then I click on your name and it tells me I must be logged in...WTF?????:(

cyclops24, I had the same problem as you. In my case, I use IE and it was a cookie problem. If that's the same cause, go to Tools, Internet Options, Privacy, then add 64.220.22.204 to the list of sites where cookies are always accepted. Then relaunch the browser and login.
It worked....and to think I am a desktop support/network admin by trade...oh well. And thanks!

Luv2Surf... nah, I didn't order the wiring adaptor harness - I hardwired in bullet connectors compatible with the LP SS2 signals' bullets. You CAN order the wiring adaptors from Lockhart Phillips though that will mesh the signals up with the stock connectors, but I didn't.

Cyclops, I sent ya an email back... but the answer is, yes, the '02 kit works on the '03's... Kawasaki hasn't altered their front signal mounts in YEARS... and you'll be happy with the Huge Industries kit, I was impressed with the fit and finish on them, and the result was the exact effect I was after. Shipping was fairly quick.
