If you've lowered, how much did you lower, and have you noticed a considerable decrease in your turning ability? Scraping?
The reason I ask is because I signed the papers for my bike yesterday. I sat on one that was being prepped for someone else. Lowered 1 or 1.5". It was so comfortable, compared to mine, which is pretty high in comparison. I'm 5'10" (really 5'9 3/4").
I have the lowering links set on the middle hole, and it feels really good. Lower center of gravity feels really good. With my bike sitting next to a stock 636, you can definetly see a difference!
i used to have mine lowered did you know that you are only suposed to use a lowereing kit in conjunction with drag racing/ strate line you will definatly nowtice a difference in handling a negative difference i'm 5-6 and manage to get along fine with stock hight
Secondly, I have mine lowered an inch and the bike does seem to not feel as comfortable as people have suggested. I did it right off the bat. You may be better off trying to get used to the stock height. I will probably be returning to stock height myself to see what the difference is.
