Does anyone know the diameter of the fork tubes for a '99 6R?
I thought they were 38mm but that seems a little small.
I'm considering some clip-ons and would like to know what I need to work with.

99 6R had 46mm cartridge fork tubes, 12-way rebound, 10-way compression.

should be the same fork tubes, but the way the '00 and up clip-on attatch are a little different. all you will have to do is let the triples slide down on the tubes a little.

They are the same as far as tube sizes and I don't see why they wouldn't mount up. Pro Tek says they are the same from 98-02. The Dennis Kirk catalog I have only shows 98-99 for Vortex so I would think if they are the same for Pro Tek they will be the same for Vortex. Either way you are looking at $140-$180.
