frame slidders in engine mounts

726 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Grunt_99
will someone with some money and skills please do a write up on how to install the frame slidders that go into the engine mounts. I know you have to relocate the coolent resevoir, so i wasn't sure how this was done. I want to get some frame slidders that will actually save my bike at low speed get off's, and i heard and i believe that the ones that bolt into the fairing wouldn't do $hit to save your bike. There to high, and the bolt is to small.

someone hook it up<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

I heard there is a set that comes with a redesigned coolant resevoir so you dont have to relocate it.

I will see if I can find where I heard that from.. Otherwise I don't know anything about it..
i have heard about those to, but no one locally that i know of has them (US) also they cost a ton with that resevior thing. There has to be a simple cheap effective "do it your self way" out there.
Here's the best ones for zx-6r from what I've read. They use the motor mounts and comes with a new bottle...but at a significant cost!
