looks nice, have you considered painting the hugger body color? Might look nice.

Thanks!

I purposly went with black, all yellow would have been too much IMO. I like the black...subtle, but still there. The body colored ones look good on the 03's, but they're huggers atr much smaller and can pull it off a lot easier. Especially since I've got black lowers anyway, I thought it tied in better. That's my personaly pref, I know there are lots of peopel who like the color matched ones too. They were the all the same price. With some other colors it works better...with somethign like yellow, too much can over-do it.
Well I finally took some new pics of the 2 latest mods, the rear hugger and the SS braided lines (front only). Really impressed with both.

The brakes were good from the factory, but they're improved with SS lines for sure. The kit also included new galfer pads, but I didn't install them as the OEM's have lots of life left still. I haven't had a change to push them hard yet, but already I can feel the improvement.

Hugger is only for looks, but it's a great product for the price ($200 cdn, delivered to my door, taxes-in).

The new Galfer fittings

In this one you can see the speed bleeders in place too

Hard to tell, but the lines match the blue on the damper and the front suspension settings

This is the crappy magnetic tank protector I got for $20, looks ok, but it's peeling apart already :(

Here's the new Pyramid plastics hugger in place

Did i exceed my picture limit LOL? At least I reduced the size for modem surfers ;)

thats a nice bike grunt.. where did you get those seat covers? and the pegs?
The seat covers are from a guy who makes them and sell only on ebay afaik. I have his email addy if you want to contact him. Very nice work, and cheap price too.

The pegs are competition werks, you can get those from anywhere really. They're really good too. They're cut at an agle underneath at the ends, and really do increase ground clearance. Clearance wasn't an issue on the street, but I found during track time that I was dragging the pegs, and I hit them down very hard a few times (I didn't like how that felt). I wasn't hanging off enough...but there's no way I'll be dragging those puppies now. The exhaust would likely touch down first now, And I won't be doiung that anytime soon LOL. Thanks for the kudos.

My hugger is all yellow and looks awesome. My bike looks almost identical to grunt's bike, Minus the Double bubble and the seat covers. I gotta figure out this digital camera I've got and get some pics. :D

Ken...have I mentioned what great taste you have??? LOL :D
How hard was it to install the flushmount lights on the front? Did you have to take off your front fairing and do any modifications to it? They look good. Very nice looking bike.
Grunt.... Whats is the guy who did your seats email. I have been looking for the same thing but in black and green. How much did it cost you?

The Dman
Thanks CL...re the flushmounts, they are LP's flushmount V's. You can also get them in the clear lenses, but I prefer the good old fashioned amber. I removed the front fairing and fabricated a mounting plate, and also a thin layer to fill in the hole left by the stock ones. Nothing too complex, you'll see what I mean when you try it. Just take your time. You COULD try to do it w/o taking it apart, but it's not my recommneded way. You'd probably have to use the tap in that case, and there would likely be a gap in places.

Dman, I'll have to get it tonight when I'm home, stay tuned...
Grunt, as always... bike looks absolutely beautiful bro...

Keep up the good work.

Hey, does anybody have any drawings or animated pictures of Ninja's (especially the ZX-6R)? I've been looking for them all over, but with no luck.
Thanks DJ [8D] I got my hugger from a place in Quebec (Canada) called Dynamo Humm (http://www.dynamohumm.com/). but you could get it from anywhere that carries Pyramid Plastics' product line.

Dman, sorry for the delay, but I've been out riding lately LOL...the seat guys's email addy is [email protected] ...assuming it hasn't changed in the last year or so.

Ouch! That is in fact a picture of a tire (and bike) fresh out of winter storage that hasn't had a hard run on it yet. Temps were too low. All it had on it were highway runs of up to about 50 kilometers so far this year.. I'm still on my winterized tank of gas LOL. To me, chicken strips are the part of the tire that's NEVER been scrubbed in. They all emerge again depending on how much commuting you do.

But since that pic was taken, in the last couple of nights I've got to put on some good hard riding. But alas, that tire now has the threads showing in the centre and is totally done. But here's a pic of it in it's happier days...just for you art! Now lets see yours ;)

I like the look of your seat covers. I am going to go with the red-fox hugger in a black to red fade to match my bike.

Thanks, I'm really happy with them. If I didn't get the Pyramid Plastics hugger I was going to go with a red-fox. I've heard great stuff about them, but never seen one up close. They're rare around here.
As always, Bike looks great!! I just don't know about that yellow color (lol) :D
