I have an 04 636 and I want to upgrade to better braking, i have a rear 05 and 08 wave rotor and I have the 2 05 wave rotors for up front, the question is what do I need to make them fit and where can I get the parts? I know I need 10mm spacers and longer bolts up front I think but what about the rear they look the same size.

the rear bolt rite on. nothing needed. just swap it out

need spacers up front, i used grade 8 nuts for spacers, they are exactly 10mm and are dam near perfect. i also used the stock bolts, tried them out by doing heavy breaking and endo's. they have held fine for the past 10,000 + miles

Stainless steel brake lines, upgraded pads, fluid change. WALA, brake upgrade. My $.02

BTW I love the orange, can't beat owning a rare Kawi.

yeah i hadn't said it, but rotors are not a brake upgrade, flushing out the old fluid with some synthetic is nice by itself. on the 636, braided lines are nice!

using the bigger rotors up front should help some shouldn't it?

brake pads with the larger rotors will indeed help you out....but dumping the standard master for a radial unit will help you even more.

+1, I left that that out cuz wasn't sure if the first gen 636's had a radial unit.

Can't he do the caliper upgrade as well??
